This beautiful yellow finch may have been the first bird I painted after years of painting primarily pets. Pet cats & dogs, that is. It started me down a path of a whole lot of other animals, and it could be yours! It would look great with other art of birds, or flowers, or plants, or faces, or abstract stuff. Whatever tickles your fancy!
This original watercolor painting incorporates pen and ink as usual, but also has several details added with colored pencil. All of my art has a bit of multimedia work to it, but the primary medium is obviously watercolor.
The artwork is framed with a white mat, and easily removable if you'd like to frame it differently.
