The Art of Community
Welcome to the first showcase and sale of work by local artists as we celebrate our creative community, neighborhood businesses and a non-profit* located in our community. Meet the artists, get to know your neighbors, purchase a gorgeous piece of art and be a part of something beautiful.
SOMA Figure Drawing
Live Figure drawing session at the Maplewood Community Center - 120 Burnett Ave from 8-10pm. Sessions are BYOP (Bring your own pens, pencils, paper, paint, suPPlies, etc). We'll bring the model (he or she will be nude) and the live orchestra (no really, there's an orchestra that will play in the next room).
To confirm your spot, RSVP here as "going" and send a $15 Venmo payment to @nicolas-guillen. Let us know the date of the session you're paying for so we can keep track of attendees. (Please don't tag the transaction. Marking it as "goods and services" will charge us a fee!)

Studio Tour at the Chatham Library
This June, nine Studio Tour SOMA artists from Maplewood and South Orange, will be exhibiting their work in the Library of the Chathams Lundt Room. The library is located at 214 Main Street, Chatham, NJ.
The show runs from June 1 - June 30
The opening reception will be in the Lundt Room on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 2pm-4pm
