There’s a Mexican restaurant on St Marks St called @la_palapa and when @kellsdotcom and @joncheese were in the budding stages of their romance, this was their _spot_. You know what I mean - THE place you’d keep coming back to over and over and over so many times that it’s got an outsized special chunk of your heart, and nothing else will ever be like that.@melaniecurtis11 and I had brunch there one day with Jon & Kelly (who are now our neighbors and run awesome stuff like @allmyfriends_soma and @ritesofspringfield and @maplewoodmacrame). Jon commissioned this from me as a birthday gift for Kelly. (Happy Birthday Kelly!) If you’re ever on St Marks, get some food there. It’s wonderful. 🥰
