I’m trying to gin up some local controversy about who’s got the best Taylor Ham Sandwich and @nicolehawkinsphotography insists that it’s @valleystreeteatery, so I went there with @sandra_charlap and talked about how difficult it sometimes is to teach perspective. This came up when I kinda screwed up some of the angles in the background so whatever you do, don’t look at the ceiling. It’s already paining me that I wasn’t able to render the amazing tin ceiling tiles as well as I’d like to (in a 4”x4” sketchbook. You should go there & check them out yourself.)
What does this have to do about the egg sandwich rankings in the region? Just about nothing! If you go on your own egg sandwich tour, I insist you add on the crispy potato doohickeys they offer. This addition gets Valley Street Eatery at LEAST one extra star for the rankings.
